    Screen discolored after restarting


    i was playing a game on my pc, and i alt tabbed. and then the screen went black, kept switching the hdmi, and i couldnt do anything so i turned off my pc and turned it on again. however, the color is very grey-ish. its discolored and almost like you put a see through grey paper on top. what should i do?

    on grey images on my screen there is a lot of discoloration, it flickers green and red.

    Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

    Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

    This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

    ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

    Screen discoloration on a monitor after Windows 10 update

    Did some research.

    Make sure the HDMI male end is connected securely into the female end. Sometimes loose fitting connection can contribute discoloration.
