Windows 10: Screen Display

Hi i updated my windows last night and right now i just noticed that my screen display in my laptop has a black things in the edges of the screen like it's been resized but i didn't change the display resolution at the first place... and even i tried to change the display resolution to fix but it didn't fix at all. what is this mean? Is it bug with the windows update or my laptop has an issue? New Laptop hp laptop 15 fc0122au0.

It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

• Boot your computer in
  safe mode.
• Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
• Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
• Restart your computer.

To increase the display timeout, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Select Desktop and click Personalization.
• Select Lock Screen, then Click on Screen time out settings.
• Change the required time in the drop down under Screen.
