Windows 10: Screen distortion and frequent system hangs

Hello,Recently, my laptop has suddenly had problems with the monitor. After a few seconds after starting it shows random patterns or gray boxes and freezes.After another few seconds, the laptop shuts down and restarts. The hardware checks in the bios were all successful. The drivers are also up-to-date.If an external monitor is connected, both the built-in monitor and the external monitor work without problems. As soon as the external monitor is unplugged, the monitor will freeze again, display random patterns, and shut down.There are also no problems when starting the computer in “Save Mode”.

sound distorted after windows 10 anniversary upgrade

This is where I'm at on my HP laptop with Windows 10 and the Anniversary update.

I completed step #3 "hardware and sound" but that took me to an option for "sound, speakers." There was no "properties" as step #4 suggests. I selected "sound, speakers" and then found "properties." After selecting "properties" there was no "enhancements
tab" as step #5 suggests.

Regardless, I then uninstalled the realtek audio driver. I noticed that when I did this without restarting my laptop that the sound was now tinny, but not distorted as it was previously. After restarting, the sound was again full, yet distorted.

Realtek still shows in my programs list, though it shows no memory is used.

browser hangs frequently

i dunno what happened with my pc, later i just find my browser hangs frequently no matter what browser that i run. FF, Opera or portable browsers act the same
every i open new tab or when i run for the first time it hangs about 20 - 40 seconds
ive uninstalled and reinstall the browser but it still there
any solution for this?

 

Frequent system hangs



HI:
I am seeing frequent hangs of varying times after reboot. Many times a few minutes after boot, often 15 minutes after boot, once as long as 5 hours till requested shutdown. Typically most activity freezes things, the mouse might still work but wont respond to a click, sometime screen goes blank, sometimes reboots. On one occasion that I caught " .net optimization service" was compute bound on 1 core showing 100% total disk activity, but no process had any disk activity.
Hopefully the .zip file attachment is correct, I was a bit confused by the instructions.
