Windows 10: Screen flashes white in the boot screen of my TUF GAMING B650-Plus

Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fpfDLsSometimes, my whole screen goes white for a second in the boot screen when the TUF GAMING logo shows up. Sometimes, just the bottom half of the screen goes white for a second. This usually doesn’t happen, though I do typically do seem to get two loading screens with the logo for some reason. Is this all normal, or is something wrong with my motherboard? I haven’t noticed any other issues apart from my PC not booting up if I enable Memory Context Restore and EXPO at the same time, though that’s obviously a different issue.

Flashing white screen on boot


This has happened to me a few times now but luckily I run Rollback Rx and can roll back to the last good snapshot.

I usually get the white flashing screen on boot when I try to install new security software, the latest culprits being Bitdefender and Avira free antivirus, whenever I install them when I go to reboot I will get my pc makers logo, then the Rollback Rx recovery console (this is normal) then back to my pc makers logo after which it normally boots into Windows but after installing the above security software after the final pc makers logo all I get is a flashing white screen, what is causing this? I have tried to google this but can't seem to come up with anything.

My System Specs:
Windows 10 Pro x64 v1511 build 10586.494

Running Security software:
Windows Defender
Winpatrol Plus
Winantiransom Plus+
Malwarebytes Pro
Rollback Rx Pro
Microsoft EMET

Fast boot and secure boot are both disabled

And yes, I do disable Windows Defender before installing another Antivirus.

Any help would be appreciated.

• Did you run the World of Tanks game on the same laptop where you encountered the white screen after exiting the World of Warships?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far aside from restarting the laptop?
