Windows 10: screen flickering after reinstalling nvidia drivers uninstalled with DDU

After reinsatalling with NO internet my screen started to flicker and go black. Some people said its because windows downloaded drivers aswell but i had no internet connection. How can i fix this can someone help ? PC is unuseable Edit: everything seems blurrier than before aswell.

Screen Flickering

Return that card for something else. I've heard of many issues with Asus Direct Cu 7970's. You could try finding a different monitor to see if your monitor is the problem, but I doubt it.

**I though you tried differnet cables. Buy a new cable and try it. Get a Dual Link DVI cable.

Here's a list.

1. Uninstall and reinstall video drivers.

2. Replace cable

3. Try different monitor

4. Try different video card

5. Replace video card.

If you can do any of the steps above, just skip to step #5.

 

[Windows 11] Screen flickering

Hi TamalGuha1,

Inspite of doing windows updates I got this flickering issue.

So I used DDU to uninstall the drivers. I selected Remove AMD options on DDU(I unselected all the other options) and restarted my laptop. Then I installed the drivers from the above link as per DaveM121's suggestion

I used these drivers - https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp84501-85000/sp84754.exe

Can you please share the exact steps to uninstall & reinstall the drivers? I need to fix this urgently. Please help
