    Screen Flickering ... Again


    Hey there! I know, that there is an article in the Support Pages about this, but they don't solve anything. The problem is, how you got from the title, is flickering. Sometimes it blinks the whole screen, sometimes just a part of it something like goes to left, and then to right in a milliseconds, or vise-versa.


    What have I tried?:

    • Rolling Back the Display Drivers: Doesn't help, screen continues flickering,
    • Reinstalling the Display Drivers: Again doesn't help, the screen continues flickering,
    • Factory Reset: Screen even continues flickering on a fresh installed Windows.

    Common questions:

    • Yes, the Task Manager flickers too,
    • No, I don't see any flickering in the Safe Mode,
    • System is fully up-to-date.

    Details:

    • OS: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
    • OS build: 19042.804
    • Windows version: 20H2
    • Display drivers: IntelR UHD Graphics 630 and NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    Screen flickering in safe mode help!

    Hi Yasmeentq,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.


    • Press Windows key + R

    • Type msconfig

    • In msconfig > Boot tab >
      Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
