Windows 10: screen flickers black for a second before loading properly, very quick

I don't know what subject heading applies.


All of a sudden, today, the monitor flickers black and then goes up as it should. I have changed nothing on the laptop. Everything is working fine.


I've seen some youtube videos that talk about changing the monitor resolution and other things that seem overly complicated and far fetched.

Some talk about updating apps. I don't really use apps and have no extraneous software on the laptop.




Any ideas? It's windows 10 with a recently updated Chrome.

Black loading screen delay


When i boot up or reboot my Windows 10 pro after the windows logo is gone i get a black screen flicker once with my mouse loading along with for at least 10 to 15 seconds... not sure if it's a video card issue or what... i have a radeon HD 6570 but it really makes the boot up time very slow... any suggestions? Also have the most updated driver for my video card.*Think

For all those people who face this error please find below the easiest solution for this error.

1. First of all click on the Catalyst Control Center.
   
2. Now click on ‘3D Application Settings’.
   
3. All you have to do is change the ‘Wait for Vertical Refresh’ option to ‘On, unless application specifies’.

I think you can fix this by disable auto switch graphics in BIOS.
