Windows 10: Screen Flickers in Office Products & Videos are Black Screen

Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop running Windows 10 that I got in 2017. Here are some additional specs:One 128 GB SSD C: drive, which has the OS on it and 1 TB HDD D: driveAn integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 GPU and NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPUIn early 2021, I installed a refurbished batteryIn early July, I was getting a bunch of power kernel errors. I couldn't go more than 45 minutes without getting a blue screen. I made the decision to reinstall Windows Settings -> Recovery -> Reset this PC, keeping my files but reinstalling from local files instead of downlo

For all those people who face this error please find below the easiest solution for this error.

1. First of all click on the Catalyst Control Center.
   
2. Now click on ‘3D Application Settings’.
   
3. All you have to do is change the ‘Wait for Vertical Refresh’ option to ‘On, unless application specifies’.

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?
• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?
• Do you get any error message/code while login to the PC?

Screen Flickering

Return that card for something else. I've heard of many issues with Asus Direct Cu 7970's. You could try finding a different monitor to see if your monitor is the problem, but I doubt it.

**I though you tried differnet cables. Buy a new cable and try it. Get a Dual Link DVI cable.

Here's a list.

1. Uninstall and reinstall video drivers.

2. Replace cable

3. Try different monitor

4. Try different video card

5. Replace video card.

If you can do any of the steps above, just skip to step #5.
