Windows 10: Screen freeze after switching from dual monitor to single monitor

I have been having screen freeze issues when switching from dual monitor to single monitor to use my capture card. It seems that whenever I go from dual screen to single screen, the primary monitor will sometimes freeze. I can move my mouse but nothing is clickable. I have tried swapping from using a physical switch and changing the settings from extending the display to only display 1 and it still freezes. Would appreciate if anyone has any idea why this happens

• How have you setup dual monitors?
• Are you referring to use 2 different mouse/keyboard with the dual monitor setup?

If yes, the mouse or keyboard may function same as one another. Since, it has to be connected to single PC/tower.

However, setting up 2 different mouse/keyboard with the Dual- monitor setup, it may not function separately for each monitor.

My screen is switching without a dual monitor

For some reason, my single monitor switches screens constantly. I don't even have dual monitor on. It always makes another screen from the right come in, so I can never go back and play something, or d o what I was doing. The sounds still appear in the
background, and I have to restart my computer to get it to normal. I think I might've press Ctrl + Windows, but when I tried that, it didn't do anything. I just got a new SSD card, and its like a new computer. When I first got the computer it did this too.

Dual monitor setup, Monitor #2 keeps losing color calibration.

Running dual monitors in Win 10 and when going through the Color calibration steps on monitor #2 (Control panel / Display / Calibrate color) the settings stick as long as the 2nd monitor is active.

If I switch to single display (Windows Key + P / PC Screen only) then the 2nd monitor loses its color calibration. Also anytime I reboot my PC (Even if I have both monitors active) the 2nd monitor loses my calibration.

The 2nd monitor has a fairly strong bias for the color Green so I can always tell right away.

I'm probably overlooking something and was hoping someone might of dealt with this before
