Windows 10: Screen freezes after opening.

I've tried googling this, looking on the community forums, reddit, and nothing has helped. My computer freezes when I open it, I have to lock my computer, or do Ctrl + Alt + Del to unfreeze it. It does this every time I close and open it, im not sure why, I haven't messed with any of my settings either. Please help, this is extremely annoying. I'd like to clarify, I can move my mouse around no problem, it just wont click anything until I do Ctrl + Alt + Del.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!
