Windows 10: Screen freezes on Windows 10

Hi all, I keep getting screen freezes recently and there's one that looks like this:Was in the middle of web browsing. Usually I only get screen freezes during gaming but this happened during browsing and I'm not sure what it really is. I use very low settings for graphics and previously, games ran smoothly. Things start to run badly after a windows update and I don't even know which cos there's so many! I'm assuming this is a graphics driver problem as well?I had to force restart frm power button since no keyboard response. System: Win 10 home 64bitIntel core i5 processor 2500Nvidia GeForce g

Windows 10 freezes randomly

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Friends computer freezing at windows loading screen

Ok my friend is having problems with his computer right now. Basically it crashed on the windows loading screen. This is what he told me on MSN.

Now i'm not too sure what the problem is. I suggested doing a repair install with the xp disk (i'll be giving him that tomorrow) but in the mean time do any of you have any ideas?
