Windows 10: Screen Freezes randomly after update and can not uninstall that update

I have HP z-book firefly with all the good specs. Till now it was running smoothly but after an updateKB5045935 on 13th November, the screen started freezing automatically and randomly. I can't predict when my screen is going to freeze again. The only solution is to restart my PC. I have tried waiting for hours but the result was overheating like its going to explode. One more problem I was facing was that after closing my lid, nothing appear, I have to again restart my laptop.I have now tried uninstalling these updates using Settings>uninstall updates but whenever I do so and restart, th

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

• Which is the last Windows update build you've applied to the computer?
• Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?

• Go to the computer manufacturer's website.
• Look for the computer model that you're using.
• You should find any available BIOS update.

In another lengthy thread (68 pages) Asus motherboards are frequently mentioned.

Some things I noted: Update Acronis TI from 2014 -Again, if you already installed Acronis before and have uninstalled it, you will still have the issue. You'll have to reinstall Windows 10 to me that suggests elements not properly uninstalled; an unsupported wifi card & driver; disconnect from internet - freezing stops; update BIOS; And just as you found, disabling "Core C6 State" in the BIOS eliminated the problem!;

I've skim read 1-23 and the last 4 or 5 pages. Worth looking thru if stuck.
