    I am using Asus X510UF , recently i upgraded to SATA 2.5 ssd, After i reinstalled clean windows , but then i find my laptop randomly freezes , some time need to hard shutdown , all driver are up to date ,but don't know why it happening.

    Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

    some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

    occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps. Refer to the below steps:


    • Type Lock screen in the search bar and press enter

    • Select Advanced Slideshow settings

    • Click on Turn off screen after slideshow has played for and select the time limit
