Windows 10: Screen gets brighter automatically.

My screen gets brighter anytime I try to watch a video and will stay that way. It'll go back to normal if I restart my pc but will return super bright as soon as I watch a video. I'm not on a laptop so I wasn't able to turn off any of the adaptive brightness settings and I'm not sure how else&n
