Windows 10: Screen Goes Black In Specific Scenarios Windows 10

As title says, my monitor screen will go black but only when I am doing very specific things. For instance, opening sound settings, then device properties instantly presents my monitor with a black screen but only when the window that I am looking at is in full screen. This happens in multiple windows in my settings as well as on certain web pages. Another instance that this can occur is when a game that I am playing is in a loading screen and the monitor will show completely black, but alt-tabbing shows the loading screen in the game when I look at the minimized view of the application. I have found no instances of this happening to other people while troubleshooting, and I have updated my graphics drivers multiple times while this issue still persists. It is not so much of a problem, but a nuisance that I would love to fix, as it can be very annoying at times.
