Screen goes black, no dump file, can't remote in but can access disk

On my Dell Precision T3610, I originally tried using a gForce graphics card for triple monitor display, but that gave enough BSOD's that I eventually gave up, removed the gForce, and went back to the original NVS 310. Occasionally now, sometimes even while I am away from the keyboard, the following situation occurs:

    - both of my screens will both go black (as if they are not receiving a signal)
    - computer will not restart
    - no minidump file is created
    - seemingly I cannot remote desktop in anymore, whereas when the screens are working I can remote in
    - Powershell Enter-PSSession also hangs, with no error code; existing PSSession *seems* to stay, but commands don't work suggesting a lost connection (I was hoping to devcon restart the device remotely - this does work in normal circumstances, but not after this issue presents)
    - Shared network drives are still available. This is interesting, in that it shows the computer is still running.
    - Apparently no amount of time causes the computer to reboot, and I think keyboard commands are being ignored.
    - Not sure if a different OS works or not; trying to make it work with 10.

I've upgraded graphics card drivers to latest (Jan 29) from the December drivers, upgraded chipset etc based on mfg recommendations. I've tried moving the graphics card between slots internally with no luck. Pretty much grasping at straws at this point - any suggestions?

    :)

  2. Unable to start Windows 10 after Anniversary Update

Has bricked my desktop. After installing, screen goes black. Then I tried booting from recovery disk, screen goes black. I can't even get into safe mode. Essentially computer is dead.. So all I can see is the initial boot logo, then the screen goes black.
I can hit f12 to boot from recovery disk, but then screen goes black.

    Original title: Anniversary Update

    Windows 10 install, black screen

    Hi,

I can't do the other steps because I can't get access to the drives. I can't even get into safe mode. The desktop screen comes on and after a few seconds it goes black. Only thing visible is the mouse cursor. The times that the desktop screen stays a bit
longer and I try to access my computer the screen goes black.

    THanks
