    Screen goes black when playing Videos, but the image comes back when the cursor fades away


    Its starting to get annoying, the issue is what the title says, i've tried everything, the drivers, hardware acceleration (although i dont have the option in the first place) and i can't find anything, im tired and i dont know what to do.

    NOTE: I've reinstaled Windows on my computer a few months ago, it needed a factory reset, and since then, the issue appeared. I used to have the same problem with youtube, instead that the video never came back, i disabled hardware acceleration from google's chrome settings and that fixed it

    my screen blacks out when playing a video after last update

    after the latest update my screen goes black whenever i try to play a video (youtube, amazon prime, netflix, etc). my screensaver is set to 5 minutes, but the moment where the full screen/volume/settings icons on the video fade away the entire screen
    goes black. the screen will come back on when i move the mouse or hit a button, but i can't work and watch anything at the same time now. anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?

    No screen fade to black effect after upgrading to 1903

    I have noticed that the screen no longer fades to black when switching off after upgrading to 1903. There used to be a short fade effect when the screen turned off such as when putting the computer on sleep. The screen now just instantly goes off. I thought it was something to do with my laptop at first but it's the same thing on 3 different makes of laptop. They all used to fade to black but that now this no longer happens. Why has this effect been removed? Is it possible at all to bring the effect back?

    Mine will not show a cursor at all. Its just a black screen without a cursor.
