Windows 10: Screen has a line going across it vertically about a cm from the top and cannot raise...

Hello.Black screen appears out of nowhere covering majority of monitor.Given suggestions on previous post but they didn't work.Reset windows.Original black screen is gone.Since then when going to change monitor refresh rate to the highest supported 144hz I am met with the same black screen with the same small bit of desktop on top as before.Refresh rates between 60hz and 144hz all vary in the blackness / impact they have on the display for example 74.97hz causes horizontal lines to appear covering the entire screen but will&nb

win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

• Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software

BUT i still have the line on screen.

To narrow down the issue, kindly go to BIOS and check to see if the vertical lines are persists or not. If they are persists, it means the issue is from the Laptop/Monitor screen which may broken or damaged.

If they are not available:

1-Go to Settings > Update > Check for update > Install all the pending updates

2-Change Screen Resolution:

Right click on Desktop > Display Settings > Change Display Resolution.

3-If it did not help, try to update display driver from Device Manager.

Right click on Start > Device Manager > Display Adapters

4-If still available, uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

Vertical lines on screen

When my computer turns on, no line appears, but over time vertical lines appear... with the display port cable the lines appear up to half of the screen, with HDMI lines appear up to the top of the monitor, I already changed it the display port cable, updated drivers etc... I've tried to test the monitor on another computer and it didn't work... does anyone know if there's a solution?
