Windows 10: Screen is shifted to the left of the external monitor.

I have a 2 monitor setup that I can move my mouse from one side to the other. With that being said, I see a proportionate amount of black space on the monitor that looks like the display is "pushed" over and not perfectly fit on my screen. Please help, Thanks!

Windows + Shift + right doesn't shift window to the right screen (shifting to the left works fine)

When I use Windows Key + Shift + left the active window jumps to the monitor on the left like expected
But when I try to do it the other way around: Windows Key + Shift + right the window doesn't jump back to the right Nothing happens. Why? How can I fix this?

PS: I am using Windows 10 Version 1903 (64 bit) on my ThinkPad with two additional external monitors.
Windows Key + right moves the window correctly to the right (step by step but not directly to the next monitor).
Maybe the Windows Key + Shift + right was overwritten by something else? How can I find out?

 

Laptop screen will only work once it has been connected to an external monitor, even if that monitor is switched off

Having an issue whereby I cannot see or use the Laptop screen without first plugging it into an external monitor.

  Upon Windows startup unconnected to any external monitor

    DELL opening logo can be seen on Laptop screen
    
  • 
    Screen goes black with backlight
    
  • 
    Mouse pointer can be seen onscreen if moved to the right, as though a second monitor is connected on the left hand side.

    Attempting to press enter and type in password in the correct order as though the screen was functional does not do anything

  Upon connecting to an external monitor (even if switched off)
  
  • 
    Laptop screen will suddenly appear, all functionality restored

  Upon disconnecting again from external monitor

    Laptop screen remains visible and functional
    
  • 
    Lock screen /unlock screen no problem

  Upon shutting and opening the laptop lid

    Screen black with backlight, same results as windows startup, mouse pointer can be seen and moved as though a second screen is connected on the left

    No functionality until reconnected, even for a second, with an external monitor.

screen is shifted to the left

i have an HP PC running windows 10. All i know is that the model for the monitor is L1916HW. when i moved my mouse to exit sleep mode my screen said "auto adjust" and everything was shifted to the left. The touch bar thing on the side of my moniter iis
brocken so i cant shift the monitor to the right with the monitor menu. Is there a way to change it with the display settings or something? (i already tried restarting my computer)
