Windows 10: Screen is tinted green on startup, goes away when I enter display settings

I've built a new computer, and my Windows 10 64-bit Home is colored a slight green on startup. Other than the green tint, colors and contrast looks normal

• When I enter display settings it goes away, and won't return until next startup.
• When I tried screen recording this to show how annoying this is, there's no green tint!
• Night light is off.

I tried adding a color profile to my screen. and using NVIDIA settings to adjust colors to see if it would override whatever is making the screen green. It didn't work.

I have an Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q monitor connected to an MSI 2080 TI.

green tint

My screen is displaying a green tint. I swapped out the wire, still having the same issue. I followed multiple suggested steps I found in a similar forum. I even tried a few youtube videos. I don't know what to do. The computer functions normal, it just
has an awful green tint. Any suggestions?

 

Green tint when opening office applications

Hi Guys,

I hope we can solve this issue.

When opening Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel etc. my screen gets a green tint.

As soon as I close the application it takes a few seconds and the green tint goes away.

I have read up on a few similar problems on here but haven't managed to solve the issue.

I have removed MS Office and reinstalled it yet the problem persists.

Regarding hardware:

- I used to have an MSi GTX 1060 6gb Gaming X when the problem started, I removed it to check if it was seated properly and rolled back on drivers but the problem was still there.

- I now have a Galax GTX 1080 EXOC Snpr White, I have installed the latest drivers yet the problem still persists.

Any suggestions?

All of a sudden Monitor has green tint on new Inspiron 3470

Worked on brand new Inspiron 3470 yesterday Windows 10 Pro updated when I powered on and all was fine, today I powered on and the screen has a green tint all over and the display resolution had changed! *Mad

I have not altered any display customizations.
I have been able to restore the screen resolution but cannot get rid of the green tint on the screen!!!
I have restored to a previous restore point and uninstalled the Windows Updates installed yesterday but the screen still has a green tint!
Any help would be most appreciated.
