Windows 10: Screen locked and asked to contact a Microsoft number to walk through solving the problem....

On yahoo.com, I clicked on a story on a website and when I clicked on continue, a new screen came up saying I had some bad software added and they wanted me to call a Microsoft number to have technicians walk me through the resolution. No how many times I pressed deny. the screen kept coming back. I shut down and restarted, and when I went to yahoo.com the screen kept coming up.

>> I have made some driver updates related to my steel series keyboard drivers, but I don't think it has to do anything in here.

>> No, at least, I do not see one.

• What is the build number of your operating system?

>> Windows 10 Pro, Version 1703, OS Build No.: 15063.483

>> No, because I cannot take a screenshot while it's trying to lock the screen.

Lock Screen Image Too Big

• Is this issue occurs only when the pictures are set from OneDrive?

I suggest you to set the picture for the lock screen using the default lock screen pictures and check whether the issue persist or not, follow the below steps to set the pictures.

• Go to “settings” and click on “personalization”.
• Under “lock screen” tab, select the option from the drop box as “picture”.
• Then under “choose your picture” option, click on any picture and go to the lock screen, check whether the issue persists or not.

Emergency Numbers on Lock Screen

What I would like is on the lock screen a option/button that will list emergency contacts with out requiring unlocking the phone. This could be a custom list or pulled from People, leave this to designers, Why?

There is a system called "ICE" In "Case of Emergency" call. This is used by emergency responders to contact find your emergency contacts in case of a tragic situation. If the phone is locked they cannot not see whom to contact, I list mine in "People"
starting with ICE - Name but have to not lock the phone. If a short list could be displayed with minimum data , i.e. Wife - Name, Son - Name and they press on that and the phone calls the number.

This would be a great help to emergency personal and people who suffer and accident.

The emergency call button could give an option of the list.
