Windows 10: Screen permanently enlarged by 225%. I can't disable that.

I used Teamviewer to contact my workstation from an iPhone. Had to ask for enlargement in order to see anything. But now my workstation remembers that enlargement all too well. When I log on, the screen pops into 225% enlargement and I can't undo it. When I try, I get told that a user-defined scaling factor is active. The scaling factor field is greyed out and 225% can't be changed. My only option is to click on the text "Disable user-defined scaling and log off". And that is exactly what happens: I get logged off, and when I log in again the whole show repeats itself.

This is terrible. Please help me!

The option for enlarging fonts, apps, and other items is located in the Display settings. To enlarge fonts, apps, and other items in
Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

• Right-click on any blank space on your desktop.
• Open Display settings.
• Under Change the size of text, apps, and other items on the Display tab, select your preferred size percentage.

How to disable Airplane mode permanently on Windows 10?

The option you are looking for to permanently disable Airplane mode is unfortunately not available.

Let us try few of the below troubleshooting steps to disable Airplane mode and check if it helps.

Step 1: To turn off Airplane mode from Settings and check.

• Press Windows key, click on Settings
  from the left pane.
• Click on Network & Internet.
• Under Airplane mode turn it off and check.

Step 2: To Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Network Notification Area Icon

• 
  Click on the Network icon in the taskbar notification area.
  
• 
  Click on the Airplane mode button to toggle on or off.
  

Step 3: To Turn On or Off Airplane Mode in Action Center

• 
  Open Action Center by clicking Windows + A keys from keyboard.
  
• 
  Click on the Airplane mode quick action button to toggle on or off.
  

If the settings are not refining, this issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ missing system files.

Step 4: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a
Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Update the Display driver. Please follow the steps given below to update the display driver.

• 
  Click Start and go to
  Run.
  
• 
  In the Run prompt, type
  devmgmt.msc and then click OK.
  
• 
  Device Manager will open.
  
• 
  In Device Manager
  expand Display adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click the display driver and click
  Update Driver Software.
  
• 
  Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.
  

Step 2: Check if there are any updates for display drivers available in Optional Updates; this might fix the issue. Refer to the following steps.

• 
  At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
  
• 
  Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results.
  
• 
  When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.
  

Step 3: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Display driver. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the display driver.

• 
  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Display adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click the display card driver and click
  Uninstall.
  
• 
  Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.
  
• 
  After the un-installation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.
  

Computer will load the generic display drivers. Now, please go to the manufacturer’s website, download and install the compatible display card drivers for your computer and check.

The above steps holds good for Windows 10 as well.
