Windows 10: screen pixelates & crashes when playing games

this is a bit long, so heres a tl;dr - my computer screen pixelates and then reboots itself anytime i try to play a game that you have to launch as a program.sorry if the title isn't very specific, heres a picture to explain better: this has never happened before this point. i hadn't shut down my computer in a while, and i'm worried that might have been what caused this to start occuring. i don't know how long it had gone without shutting down but if i had to guess, it'd probably be a week or a bit more. after this happened, i manually shut off my computer because i didn't know what to do sinc

• From where are you trying to play the video games (downloaded/ from website)?
• If you are playing games from website which browser are you using?
• Were you able to see any error code/ error message when the game crashes?
• Are you able log-in to your computer?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated display drivers.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.

SCREEN PIXELATION

When ever i go full screen while watching any video file or youtube or playing games my screen got pixelated. Can anyone help me what could be the cause..?

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
