Windows 10: Screen-recorded some stuff on my pc, now can't find them in the captures folder.

I screen recorded some stuff while my captures folder was accidentally hidden, now I cant find those captures, even when i unhide my captures folder. Can someone tell me where to find those captures??

Xbox captures default folder

Hi,

Yes, you can change the default folder for Xbox captures in OneDrive by following these steps:

1. Open the OneDrive app on your device.
   
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select "Settings."
   
3. Go to the "Auto Save" tab.
   
4. Under the "Screenshots" and "Captured gameplay" sections, select the "OneDrive" option and then click "Update folders."
   
5. Deselect the Xbox captures folder that you no longer want to be the default and select the new folder you want to use instead.
   
6. Click "Update" to save your changes.
   

After completing these steps, any new Xbox captures will be saved to the new default folder you selected in OneDrive. If you want to move your existing captures to the new folder, you can do so by selecting them in OneDrive and using the "Move" function to move them to the new folder.

recommended screen capture software for PC?

I'd forgotten this one I found quite a while back - free, so comprehensive, and effective. A huge number of options if you want them:

ShareX - Screen capture, file sharing and productivity tool
- free, open source.

Fixed region, Window from list, Screen text OCR, QR code, screen capture, screen recording...









I'm not so keen on the image editor, though.
