Windows 10: Screen Resolution 1152 x 864 instead of 1920 x 1080

I'm using a Windows 7 virtual machine and tried to connect a USB to do a Minecraft experiment for my Xbox 360. When I connected the USB, I got a blue screen of death on the native Windows 10 system and it restarted. I then boot up the Windows 7 machine again and instead of showing the normal 1920 x 1080 resolution it was before the blue screen came, it was now 1152 x 864. I even reinserted the Guest Additions CD and it's still like that. Whoever is a virtual machine expert, please help me resolve this issue.

1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list

my monitor has 1920 X 1080 resolution, but 1920 X 1080 is not on recommended resolution list. how can I get 1920 X 1080 resolution listed?

Please can someone help me. I have lost the option for 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. I thought everything looked a bit odd, and my usual workflow was no longer fitting on the page. I went to the display settings to check my resolution and the 1920 x 1080
screen resolution was gone. The recommend option is now showing as 1366 x 768 - and I can't change it.

I have updated all my drivers. I have tried the roll back driver option, I have uninstalled latest windows 10 update...nothing is returning my option for the 1920 x 1080 screen resolution.

I really need the original resolution setting back - it has altered how my screen displays and is making it difficult to work.

1920 x 1080 resolution choice disappeared.

I've been using Windows 10 successfully for a year or two now. Last night, my screen resolution abruptly changed from 1920 x 1080 to 1280 x 1024. When I went to Settings > Display to change it back, the 1920 x 1080 option was no longer available. This occurred
before I installed the most recent update. I have an ATI Radeon 3000 graphics card. Windows 10 says the driver is up-to-date. I don't have restore points. How can I get my widescreen back?
