    Screen resolution Issues


    I just recently got a new computer and updated it to 10. I have the resolution set to 1920x1080 which is the recommended resolution for me. However, the picture extends about a half inch off my screen on the right and left hand sides of my screen. Been fiddling around, trying to figure out what the problem is for hours now and I have had no luck. And yes, I have the most up to date graphics drivers. Can you guys help me out? Screenshot is below.

    I understand your concern and frustration you have been through. I will be glad to assist you.

    Please answer these questions to assist you better.

    1. What is the exact make and model of your computer?

    2. Did you make any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

    3. What happens when you select 1024x768?

    As per screen shot provided, we understand that the screen size is reduced. This issue might occur if there are no updated graphic drivers. Follow the steps below to update graphic drivers. If issue persists uninstall and reinstall from manufacturer website.

    Follow the steps to update the Graphic drivers:

    a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

    b. Expand the Graphic adaptor.

    c. Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.


    d. Restart the computer and check.
