Windows 10: screen rotate, lost driver, found drivers, lost drivers

My issues started with my screen not rotating. I eventually figured out I lost my display drivers.
I found a you tube video on how to recover lost drivers but I got errors such dealing with lack of interactive sessions. I tried to fix this but did not work. Then I finally went to Intel's web site and loaded a hard ware detect program and it worked! got my drivers and screen rotated.

Then that night I got Microsoft updates and it wiped my drivers out!! (

Lost drivers for Lexmark X5470 printer

This could be due to incompatible printer drivers. Printer driver is provided by Printer manufacturer. Please try these methods below and check.

Method 1: Update the drivers.

Step 1: Check for the latest driver update through Windows Updates.

• At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
• Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select
  Install optional updates from the left results.
• When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.

Step 2: Follow the steps below to update the printer drivers.

• Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
• Go to device manager.
• Right-click your Printer devices.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

Restart the computer and check.

Method 2: Check in
compatibility mode.

Download the drivers from your
Lexmark website for Windows 10, if not available.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

CPU drivers LOST IN SPACE

OK, so I decided to go update the drivers for my processor (after Borderlands said some BS about negative delta time) and both the drivers and the dual-core optimizer have been lost to the paradox in space where files go when they get deleted.

Sooooo..... if anybody knows where to get them..... Thanks would be in order.

 

Sound lost after upgrade to Windows 10 and gettin error message "No driver was supported in this driver package".

I upgraded to Win10 about a month ago.

I now do not have sound.

The device Manager does not even list "Audio inputs" or "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers".

I can not uninstall the drivers because the system says there is no driver.

Files are listed in the Program Files under "Realtek".

When I try to reinstall from the file the InstallShield Wizard will not even finish starting.

I have followed links from the manufacturer (ASUS) to reinstall.

I only get an error message stating "No driver was supported in this driver package".

Any suggestions?

Will I need to do a reinstall of Win10?
