Windows 10: Screen saver, display off, computer to sleep not working

My screen saver, display off and putting my computer to sleep are not working. All the settings are correct and screensaver is enabled but it's still not working.

Windows 10 Version 20H2 Build 19042.906

The settings I've looked into are lock screen, screen saver and power plan.

There is a power plan enabled.


How can I get my screen saver and power plan to work again?

Let us know what happens exactly when you try to set the screen-saver or put the computer to sleep.

I would suggest you to review he settings and check. Here is the steps:

To change Screen Saver:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Screen Saver and click on Change Screen Saver.
• Select the screensaver from the drop down menu and click on Apply.
• Click on OK.

To put the computer in sleep:

• Press Windows/Start key.
• Type Power and click on Power Options.
• Select Change when the computer sleeps in the left panel.

If you want to keep playing the music while the screen is off, you may try changing the screen saver to Blank. Just perform the steps below:

• Go to Windows Settings and select Themes.
• Click Theme settings.
• Go to Screen Saver.
• Change the Screen saver to Blank.
