Windows 10: Screen saver photos shows half on each monitor

Windows 11. Extended dual monitor system.Screen saver is set to show photos. Photos show split across the center of 2 monitors.This is a recent change I don't know why - used to only show on main monitor, fill the screen, and secondary monitor was left blank - which would be just fine.Suggestions on how to get back to the way it was?? or at least improve the way it looks??thx,

Win10 photos screen saver not working

Hi. Since a time back, my photos screen saver does not work anymore.

The preview works fine enough, but no screen saver ever starts after the time I set.

I have NUCi3BEH with Win10 Pro 20H2 with all drivers updated, all Store updates and all Windows updates.

I've tried some suggested fixes found by Google, but nothing helps.

It seems it's Windows screen savers in general that does not work, not only Photos.

Any suggestions please?

this question was asked in January and has not been answered:windows 10 programs and apps work fine, my problem is the screen saver mode. I have dual monitor images but when the screen saver starts it only shows on the main monitor not
the second one. How do I stretch the image to both screens. again the background mode is fine but not in screen saver mode.

to clarify:

-windows 10 installed

-two monitors

-screen saver (own photo gallery) only shows on one monitor

-second monitor is black

I'm using a screensaver that worked fine - it even showed different photos on each screen from the same photo folder - until windows update in the last few weeks.

the question is:

How to get a screensaver to show on BOTH monitors, not just one, on windows 10.

 

Screen saver for dual monitors

Well, problem solved - sort off! I have got it working via the Google Photos Screensaver. Different images appearing on the two monitors. The difficulty now is that the image is the correct size on the main monitor (3840 x 2160) but oversized on the secondary monitor (1920 x 1200). While images scale properly when displayed as desktop backgrounds, they don't on the smaller screen in screen saver mode.
But that's a problem for another thread I think!

In the meantime I'l have a look at your suggestion Barman.
