  1. Screen Scaling Issue on Lock Screen When Switching Between Accounts on 4K Monitor

Hello,I'm encountering a frustrating issue related to display scaling when switching between two Microsoft accounts on my Windows PC.I use a 4K monitor set to 100% scaling to take full advantage of its resolution. However, when I switch accounts, the lock screen appears to use a higher scaling factor 125% or 150%. This causes Windows to rescale every time I log in, resulting in several seconds of delay and screen adjustments.I have tried various approaches, but none seem to address the lock screen scaling issue specifically:Adjusting scaling settings for all monitors:Change DPI Scaling Level

  2. [Dual Monitor] How to fix on-screen object scaling?

    I have 2x 27" LG monitors:

    1. 4K UHD LCD
    2. 2K QHD OLED

I use the OLED for gaming, but I use both for productivity and general use.

They are side by side, equal in size, and only different in pixel density / resolution.

The 4K UHD LCD is scaled to 150% (recommended by display settings) and the 2K QHD OLED is scaled to 100% (recommended by display settings)

However, Windows doesn't seem to have any awareness of these differences, and I constantly run into issues like:

    • A window open on Screen 1 will look normal, but after dragging it to Screen 2 various element's of the window's UI will shrink or overlap or deform.
    • Windows that were open previously on the other screen sometimes open in this deformed state.

Question: How can I fix this issue so that two monitors with identical dimensions but differing resolutions don't deform essential on-screen elements?

This issue is similar to the (prematurely locked) thread here:

  3. Dialog box scales to 4k monitor even when opening on low-res screen (multiple monitor setup)

I have a 1366x768 laptop, set to 100% scaling, connected to an external 4K monitor set to 150%

If a dialog box opens on the external monitor it is correctly scaled. However if it opens on the laptop screen, or is moved to that screen, it is scaled to 150%, and I can't find any way to fix this

Is there a way tro force dialogs to rescale to the smaling multiplier of the screen they are on?
