Windows 10: screen share phone link

i was on my friends PC today and realized that it had an option to mirror apps in the phone link application which i am unable to locate on my PC i have fully updated my laptop still the feature seems missing can someone help thank you

Stop Windows 10 from asking to link phone to computer

Besides Group Policy, what other ways have you tried ?
Do you utilize Shared experiences, Share across devices ?

Unlink your phone from your PC running Windows 10, use these steps:

• Open Settings.
• Click on Phone.
• Click the Unlink this PC option. Unlink your phone from computer.
• Click the Home button.
• Click on Devices.
• Click on Bluetooth & other devices.
• Select your phone.
• Click the Remove device button.

 

sharing link by email not received as a link

What phone are you using to share video files from OneNote. Is it a Windows Phone too? Is it also running version 8.1?

When I use the One Drive app to share a video, it lets me share it several different ways, including as a link. When I select the link option the next screen I see is a screen where I select the email account I want to use, so I don't understand why you
can only text a link.

When I emailed a link to myself (to another email account I use on my phone) I received the email, clicked the link and the video opened up (not very fast) but similar to how a YouTube video opens up & played on the phone.

You really need to provide a better description about the kind of phone you are using and the steps you take to share a video via OneDrive so I can understand your situation better.

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
