Windows 10: Screen starts to flicker when memory integrity security feature is turned on.

System: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs3xxxOS: Windows 11Intel i5 10th Generation with NVIDIA GeForce MX250Windows defender notified me to turn on memory integrity for security of my laptop. On turning Memory Integrity ON, it prompted me to restart the Laptop. The very next time i turned on the laptop the screen started to flicker a lot.However Restarting the Laptop fixed the flickering,But the flickering would turn on everyday when i switch on my laptop, so i always have to then restart it to stop the flickering and continue everyday usage of laptop.Few days back, i did a full reset of PC which perm

Enabling Memory Integrity feature?

Try turning the Memory Integrity switch on. If you are notified that it cannot be turned on....





Then click on the 'Review incompatible drivers' link that will now have appeared on the Core Isolation page. If, like this laptop of mine with a 4th gen i7, your incompatible driver is already the latest available one, then you won't be able to turn on Memory Integrity.

 

Memory Integrity option cannot be turned off

I am unable to turn off the Memory Integrity option for some reason.
I even followed the steps below and rebooted, still keeps on enabling itself.

Even try these settings to disable Credential Guard here.

Even reinstalled Windows 10 by wiping out all the partitions starting from scratch. Still no luck.
Think this is a bug in v1809.

Before the complete reinstallation, I did enable the VBS settings with UEFI Lock features under the Group Policy.
But I am stumped as to why even after a reinstall I cannot disable the Memory Integrity option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Screen starts to flicker after logging in for a while

This is an entirely new issue. My screen starts to flicker after logging in/turning on computer for a while, and/or if I launch an app that uses my Nvidia card (my laptop has Optimus), I'm not exactly sure which of these two causes it. For the first while after a restart, the screen appears fine. The flickering appears on desktop background + internet browser as well, so I'm pretty sure it's not a program compatibility issue. The flickering is not severe (the type that looks like horizontal bars sliding up) but it's an annoyance.

Tried:

• Disabling Windows error reporting + problem reporting service in msconfig
• Restart computer
• Resetting Nvidia global settings to default in Nvidia control panel
• Checking for display drive updates in device manager (all up to date)
• Checking monitor refresh rate (60Hz, can't be changed)

Laptop I'm using:

• i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz
• 1900x1080
• Intel HD 4600 + Nvidia GT750M
