Split from this thread.I accessed what appeared to be a legitimate Canon camera website for its users manual. A page came up that presented screenshots of various 'pages' of the manual and I clicked on the one for "Contents" and a screen claiming to be from "Windows Firewall Protection " showed an error code #0x564897. The cursor would not function and a recording said I needed to call Microsoft Support Center at 1-888-210 -3814. The screen indicated several personal ID types of mine e.g email among others had been compromised, and the recorded message said not to tur

Screen tells me to call MICROSOFT SUPPORT 1 888-920-0310 is this a scam? Why do I have this screen?

I just read an article in the new Linux magazine on the use of Ramdisks. Using those as a file system can drastically speed up read and write performance. That would be a cool feature to build in the OS of mobile phones that hold a memory card anyway, wouldn´t
it. Then saving a large Excel sheet wouldn´t take ages as it does now (on my E61 anyway), but just a few seconds...
