Windows 10: Screen Turn Off Power Setting reverts to default on restart but does not change on power...

The VIDEOIDLE setting changes to default 0x00000384 15 min. whenever I reboot the system. It stays at 0x00000000 Never - my preferred setting when I power off and power on system or return from sleep mode. The Power mode is performance. Windows 11 Home build 22000.556. This is annoying and I'd like some help fixing the problem?

• Click on choose when to turn off display from the left pane.
• Click on Restore default settings for this plan.
• Click on Change advance power settings.
• Scroll down and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Expand Power button actions.
• Click on the Setting and set it to Shut down.

Try this, see if it works for you:

• Go to "Settings"
• Select "System"
• Select "Power and Sleep"
• Select "Additional Power Settings"
• Select "Choose what the power buttons do"
• Select "Change settings currently available"
• Ensure that "Turn on fast start up" is deselected (unticked)
• Click on "Save Changes"

Restart your computer after performing the steps.
