    Screen turned black after entering full screen mode


    Hi,


    I'm using a toshiba satellite P55W laptop without any external monitor. Every time I enter full screen mode when watching video, the screen will turn black after 5 seconds. Audio's still working but not working fluently. It happeed in every applications and websites. Youtube, Facebook, Netflix, Google Chrome, Edge, etc. Once I move the mouse or click any button to show the video playback timeline, the video will show up for 5 seconds then turned black again.

    Screen turns black, system "hybernating"

    Turned it on - after almost an entire day without touching it - and worked for 3 hours before the same screen black, system hibernating happened again.

    Checked the temperature throughout and the cores registered at max 56 and 50.

    Suggestions?

    Just so I'm clear, you said windows is downloading the GTX560 and you have the 960? When I key in either card it comes back to the same driver. Do you have the most recent driver on a USB key.

    You said you were able to enter command, excellent. Could I suggest you try a reboot to see if the Black screen issue was resolved (when you disabled hibernate windows disable Fast Startup).

    If this doesn't work can you boot into safe mode and see what driver version is listed?
