Windows 10: Screensaver frozen

My computer guys recently upgraded me to Windows 10 and I immediately noticed my screensaver doesn't work.


In short, once my computer goes into screensaver mode you cannot click on it to go back to a regular screen. You have to press Control, Alt, Delete simultaneously and then press cancel just to get out.


Then I end up turning off my screensaver as to not have this problem anymore but why the issue?


What is the remedy?


I've searched the others posts, none apply or remedy the situation.


Help.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

• Are you getting any error messages?
• Any other troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far aside from the ones that you've mentioned?

Sorry for responding so late. I tried it but computer starts up and goes straight to screensaver. Still frozen..
