Windows 10: Screensaver problems

A week or two ago I logged onto my PC and some weird thing appeared that looked like some sort of new screensaver editor thing, it had some images to choose from so I selected one of them and it appeared as the screensaver on one of my two monitors, the other one still had the same image as before. This screensaver also seems to be animated as parts of it seem to be moving, with colours dimming and parts of it moving around. I can't seem to find a way to get rid of this though, I found another image I want as my screensaver but can only get it on the monitor that was unaffected, although when I'm in settings in the personalisation options at some points this screensaver disappears for about a second showing my selected image but then reappears back over the top. For example if I change the image, alter the fit settings or change it from being solid colour or slideshow back to picture. I've tried searching for people who've had similar problems but can't find anything about it and I can't even get that application to reappear.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

Screensaver issue...


I'm having a serious issue with my screensaver. Anytime I step away from my laptop...within a minute or so it will go directly into screensaver mode. This is with the screensaver disabled. How do I fix this problem...it's driving me nuts.

 

Can't Remove Screensavers

Well since there is no way to uninstall the two screensavers I made it was suggested I uninstall the program. Unfortunately, even after uninstalling Axialis Screensaver, the screensavers I made are still listed. Not a big deal just wonder where the data is hiding? Normally they should of been created in the system32 folder but in searching none where found. *Mad
