Windows 10: Screensaver

Every couple of days, MSN sends me a new screensaver, usually a nature scene or some cute animal. Every single time, I say I'm not a fan. Every time they send me a piece of European architecture, which is very rarely, I say that I like it. Ironically, they always thank me for my feedback and say it will help them in selecting future screensavers or something like that - I can't quote it exactly from memory. Nevertheless, they keep sending me nature and animal scenes rather than the architectural scenes I prefer though there are other things I would like as well. Is there any way to select the general category of picture for the screensaver e.g., European architecture, Greek and Roman ruins, Renaissance art, or whatever or at least to exclude the above-mentioned nature and animal themes? And why does MSN ask for feedback if they take absolutely no heed of it? I just don't see the point of it. It's like a deaf person who doesn't read lips asking you to explain something to him.


P.S. I know how to set the screensaver to a single image, but that is not what I want to do. I like receiving new images, but I would like to control the general category of pictures.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

Can't Remove Screensavers

Well since there is no way to uninstall the two screensavers I made it was suggested I uninstall the program. Unfortunately, even after uninstalling Axialis Screensaver, the screensavers I made are still listed. Not a big deal just wonder where the data is hiding? Normally they should of been created in the system32 folder but in searching none where found. *Mad

 

Screensaver issue...


I'm having a serious issue with my screensaver. Anytime I step away from my laptop...within a minute or so it will go directly into screensaver mode. This is with the screensaver disabled. How do I fix this problem...it's driving me nuts.
