Windows 10: Screensavers

I have a bunch of old screensavers that I bought from a website called freeze.com that I'm trying to transfer from my old windows xp laptop. They work just fine on my windws xp laptop but when I tried transferring them a lot of them didn't work. Only one worked, and interestingly it was the oldest out of all of them. I so badly want to know how I can get them running. Some say the code execution cannot proceed because vorbisfile.dll was not found. Some others say this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Some say the program has crashed. And some say simply the screensaver can't be executed. lease reinstall. I have been looking for answers to this for a while. I know it's possible to run them because I tested them on another windows xp laptop of mine. They said the same thing as my new one did. And the oldest screensaver was the only one that worked on that one too. So please, if anyone has answers please tell me. I have been trying to do this for a while.

I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if that helps.

• Go to the folder C:\Windows\System32 and sort by file type.
• Look for the screensaver file type (.scr).
• Find the file scrnsave.scr(you can choose any of the screensavers).
• Right click and select send to>desktop (create shortcut). The shortcut on my attachment, but when i click on it my screen goes off and on and nothing else.

 

Can't Remove Screensavers

Well since there is no way to uninstall the two screensavers I made it was suggested I uninstall the program. Unfortunately, even after uninstalling Axialis Screensaver, the screensavers I made are still listed. Not a big deal just wonder where the data is hiding? Normally they should of been created in the system32 folder but in searching none where found. *Mad

 

Screensaver issue...


I'm having a serious issue with my screensaver. Anytime I step away from my laptop...within a minute or so it will go directly into screensaver mode. This is with the screensaver disabled. How do I fix this problem...it's driving me nuts.
