Windows 10: Screenshot hotkey, Windows key + SHIFT + S, doesn't always work

The hotkey Windows key + SHIFT + S for taking a screenshot has worked flawlessly for a while, but recently it has started to become unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The only way for me to get it working again is to restart my PC, which obviously isn't the most convenient method. This may have started when I last updated Windows to the latest version, but I'm not 100% sure if it was right then. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

it also works with media keys, such as mute. idk about mute mic specifically, but it's possible.

are you sure Vent doesn't have a hotkey for it? like ctrl+shift+something? just assign that macro to a key in sharpkeys.

I am pressing them together, even though it doesn't appear on the Kybd Event Viewer screenshot. Both shift keys are working normally with other keys. But for some reason neither shift key works with the single-quote key.

I did try Sticky Keys and it works! The double quote character appears when I use it. However, it works for ALL keys, which isn't good for me; I'd have to totally change my typing patterns. I only want it to work with the single-quote key, and I don't think that's possible. The ShortKeys solution works well.
