Windows 10: ScreenShot Not saving in files

For some reason my screen shots are not saving when i use printsc key or windows key + shift + S key.Neither it shows the pop up of taking a scree shot the scree shot does apper in my clipboard but it is not saving in the screeshot folder in windows 11i have tried delete and reinstall snipping toolIt will be of great help if someone knows how to repair it

How do I save snip screenshots as .JPG?

You can save a screenshot directly as a .jpeg file in the Snipping tool. You can do that by following these steps:

• 
  Press File.
  
• 
  Select Save As....
  
• 
  Choose a File name.
  
• 
  Select the drop-down besides Save as type.
  
• 
  Select JPEG file.
  
• 
  Press Save.

Steps Recorder doesn't save screenshots in generated zip file

Title describes the problem. I tried recording some steps to reproduce a bug and found that the Steps Recorder itself does not actually save the screenshots anywhere, or at least not in the zip file it saves.

Workaround: I can screenshot the displayed screenshots in the steps recorder window.

Note: this is strangely ironic and very frustrating.
