Windows 10: Screenshot not working. Help?

Recently, I tried screenshotting my screen as usual Alt+Print Screen and found that it wouldn't work. When I tried to paste it, the pasted image would say "This Page is protected" no matter what screen I tried to screenshot Including google etc, which worked fine before. Also, when I tried to save the screenshotWindows tab+Print Screen my screen would darken, like it's supposed to when taking a screenshot. But I couldn't actually see the file, only a message that said the file was either moved or had its name changedwhich I didn't do.

When I tried to fix the problem according to the steps guided on the internet, by trying to change the registry, I couldn't find the file named B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86Fat all.


Any tips on solving the problem, anyone?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open File Explorer and click on This PC in the left navigation pane.
• Navigate to the location: C:\Users\<Username>\Pictures\Screenshots.
• Right click on the Screenshots folder and select Properties.
• Click on the Location tab in the Properties Window.
• Change the location to the desired location and click on Move.

Lock vs Login screen screenshot

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!
