Windows 10: Screenshots from all third-party screenshotting applications miscoloured.

Hi, as above. Images below to show the exact coloration difference].Notice how the colors are more saturated, and redder. This issue is not present in Snipping tool which I used to take the first one.I use a ZOWIE XL LCD screen at just shy of 144 Hz. My color profile is sRGB which is calibrated- though changing color profile doesn't fix the issue. My GD is a GTX 1650.I've updated graphics drivers and that didn't fix it. An important clue I should mention is that the color change also happens in the luminosity change when you hit the screenshot key- that fade transition between doing nothing an

• Which Screenshot are you referring to?
• Are you using any third party application?
• Since when are you facing the issue?
• Did you made any recent changes to your PC?

Meanwhile, I suggest you to go to task manager and check if you see any unknown applications running.

Lock vs Login screen screenshot

Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open File Explorer and click on This PC in the left navigation pane.
• Navigate to the location: C:\Users\<Username>\Pictures\Screenshots.
• Right click on the Screenshots folder and select Properties.
• Click on the Location tab in the Properties Window.
• Change the location to the desired location and click on Move.
