  1. Screenshots not saving consecutively/in order Windows 11

Hey everyone, ever since the last big update for Windows 11 Home about a month ago HS22Home or whatever the update was called, I've had issues with the saving of my screenshots. To be specific, all my screenshots taken after that update and this is still happening as we speak do NOT save in order/consecutively. For example, my 2819 screenshot SHOULD save at the end of my screenshot folder, at place 2819, as "Screenshot 2819", right? No, it saves to some RANDOM spot in my screenshot folder, such as position 512, so it becomes "Screenshot 512". Not only is this a dumb and extremely frustra

  2. How to be given option to save screenshot

The screenshot (using Win + Shift + S) is saved automatically to the following folder:

Ref: Screenshot a Portion of the Screen [Winkey+Shift+S]

For each screen snip, two image files would be saved. One is the thumbnail/miniature version (whose dimensions are always 364x180) and the other is the original screenshot.

    Hope that info helps.

    Update:

The future versions of the Windows 11 Snipping Tool will have a built-in option ("Automatically save screenshots") to save snips to the "Pictures\Screenshots" folder automatically. The feature was introduced in Windows 11 22H2 insider build 25211.
