Windows 10: Scroll bar cancelling position when mouse cursor gets too far away from the scrollbar area

So, I got really annoyed by how this has been working for tens of years and from my search it seems like Microsoft is also not giving this any attention, so here I am creating this post to start a conversation about this.The problem I am experiencing is; When dragging any scrollbar in any application and I slide too much off the scroll area, the scrollbar will reset to where it was before I started dragging. You can test it anywhere. This has however become really annoying because if you just lazily grab the bar a throw it all the way to the other end especially when working fast, your mouse

Changing colour of scroll bar in Windows 10?

It would be nicer if it didn't disappear in the first place. I like to have the cursor in the scrollbar area and tap the mouse button when I want to scroll. Doesn't work when the scrollbar disappears.

 

TPU review scroll bar

I was wondering if there was any specific reason the buttons to scroll down the list of reviews was stuck in the bottom left-hand corner? Whenever I want to read reviews, I always have to move my cursor and aim it at a small arrow that scrolls the reviews... I'd suggest that instead of making the arrows small and in a corner, it would be better placed to the sides of the review bar.

Scroll bar hold outside range

When holding and scrolling a scroll bar, while still holding it, there is a distance where the mouse cursor can go away from the scrollbar (horizontally/sideways when scrolling up/down) before it automatically releases the scroll bar.

I'd like to know how to increase this distance.
