Windows 10: Scroll left and right very slow

Hello,


I am having a problem in one of the laptops that we have in our company.


Usually when you are using Word, notepad and want to go fast to other word or next letter you can press right indicator » in your keyboard and it will go very fast even if you want to go back pressing the button left « it is going very fast.


The problem that I am having in word, notepad also on the Windows 10 system is, when we are pressing right indicator » continuously, the indicator bar is jumping one by one very slow and to go little fast you need to press lots of time the right indicator (not keeping pressing).


It is happening only in one of the laptops. I am using the same version of windows 10 also Office 365 and it is ok, going very fast and fluid.


Can you help me guys to fix it. I suppose that could be something on the system.

Up down left right arrows

Hi Laura,.

I suggest you to check if the following steps helps to resolve the issue.

• Right click on the Windows key and Go to control panel.
• On the upper right corner change the view by to small icon.
• Click on mouse.
• Then click on ‘wheel’ tab.
• Set the values for horizontal and vertical scrolling.

and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

slow movement when scrolling left listview in file explorer windows 10

I tried my surface pro4 and Lenovo yoga pro 3, both with touch ability. My issue is when I scrolling the file explorer, the left side of listview which show the folder list, it was very lag when I scrolling, seems like very slow response and the bottom of
the list looks like barcode line.

Is it related to the graphic? Both laptop are new.

 

Scrolling up + down (left +right) via touchpad, does no longer work.

We understand your concern and would suggest you to update the Touchpad drivers as the initial troubleshooting steps and check if that helps. Here is the steps:

• Press Windows+X key on your desktop and select
  Device Manager.
• Locate Touchpad drivers, expand, right click and click on Update.

If it doesn’t help, then I would suggest you to uninstall
and re-install the Touchpad drivers in compatibility mode. Here is the steps:

      Go to your manufacturer’s website and download the
      Driver’s setup file for your computer.
      
    • 
      Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run box.
      
    • 
      Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
      
    • 
      Under Driver, expand, then right click and select
      Uninstall.
      
    • 
      If you are prompted to Confirm then Confirm.
      
    • 
      Go to the location where you had saved your downloaded setup files of the drivers and
      right click, then select Properties.
      
    • 
      Select Compatibility Tab.
      
    • 
      Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.

      Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
