    Scrolling behavior

So I've had this issue for a while on my laptop, where I have my settings set to multiple scroll lines and it works fine with some programs like Firefox, both with a mouse and TouchPad.

However, when on any native Windows related screen (like control panel) or Windows specific app like Edge, scrolling behavior is very different and I can only scroll like one pixel or line at a time (minus the inertial behavior). And it's not just a matter of scroll settings on the browser itself.

I've tried system updates, uninstalling and installing various drivers, but nothing really resolves the issue.

Was just wondering if other people have come across this issue and found a solution for it.

I don't even know why there is this differential scrolling behavior across different apps, it doesn't make sense.

    scrolling bad

New event. When placing cursor over a list or row of columns, even the volume bar scrolling is automatic and proceeds to one end of the series and stops. The scrolling also stops when I move the cursor away from the list but am unable to select anything in the list. Not all the possible lists are effected. Other sites have recommended mouse/kb fixes. Have tried all those but the phenomena persists. Have not had any known updates recently and don't have a restore point to try. Any other suggestions? W10Pro 1903

    Hello Herminio,

The scrolling issue you're experiencing on your Windows 10 laptop might be due to a misconfiguration of a device driver. It would be great if you can tell us more about your concern. Please answer the following questions:

    Scrolling behavior

WORDAMENT - Unexpected bottom row behavior.

Bottom row of letters in WORDAMENT is not working properly.

    • Expected behavior - can scroll over letters in bottom row and they will be used to form words with other, non bottom row words,
    • Actual behavior - Scroll over letters in bottom row and non-bottom row letters that precede or follow use of the bottom row are not connected in forming a word.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the application without change in behavior.

Is this a bug in the program, my OS or the device? Is there a work-around, patch or newer version that addresses this unexpected behavior?
