    Scrolling function auto locks if I open either the new Edge browser or the Chrome Browser


    Every time I open Chrome or the new chrome based Edge browser, all input devices lock into scroll mode making it impossible to select anything or type any input into the web. I have to use task manager to close the browser, but the scroll locking continues to show up in microft desktop applications. This is true for USB mouse, wireless mouse, and keypad. It is also true for both a logitech mouse and a microsoft mouse. As a freelance content provider, it is impossible to work under these conditions. My only solution to date is to uninstall Edge and Crome and use Mozilla Firefox exclusively.

    Edge Browser and Scrolling Speed

    I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron laptop and have had trouble with slow 2 finger scrolling speed in the Edge browser. I've tried changing the scrolling speed in the control panel and in the system settings which changes the scrolling speed in other
    browsers like Chrome, but has no effect in Edge. What can I do to fix it?

    Is there any Browser locking software to lock down browsers?

    I did try that, it only locks the password manager as far as I can tell, there are no settings to keep the browser itself from opening and being used. So I'm not sure what the article is explaining.
