Windows 10: Scrolling on laptop

Discus and support Scrolling on laptop in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Do you have to hold down the left key and keep the pointer on the right side of screen to scroll up and down on a page.     Do you have to hold down the left key and keep the pointer on the right side of screen to scroll up and down on a page. Very awkward

    the scroll is not working on the touchpad, i have an ASUS S56C laptop and I have tried all the suggested steps, installing drivers, uninstalling touchpad dirvers, updating within device manager, etc...

    nothing suggested worked.
