    Scrolling up or down sometimes causes the inverse.


    Sometimes when I scroll on my mouse, the inverse happens. Scrolling down causes me to scroll up for a bit , scrolling up causes me to scroll down for a bit. Its very frustrating. I don't believe it is my mice because I have 2 separate mice and they both have the same issue. 2 different ports. One being the logitech super light pro and another being the steel series aerox 9. Things I tried are: replacing the micereinstalling mouse driversuninstalling and reinstalling HID drivers

    ELAN Touchpad Scroll Inversion

    Initializing a brand-new HP computer. Elan touchpad scroll inversion not showing from the settings menu.

    I have already tried:

    -- updating the Elan touchpad driver

    -- regedit options for SC_Reverse_Enable and SC_Reverse_ShowItem (they were already set to 1)

    -- digging around in mouse/touchpad settings

    -- using device manager to hopefully change settings

    The option to reverse scroll direction is not showing up at all in any menu.

    Scrolling up or down sometimes causes the inverse.

    New event. When placing cursor over a list or row of columns, even the volume bar scrolling is automatic and proceeds to one end of the series and stops. The scrolling also stops when I move the cursor away from the list but am unable to select anything in the list. Not all the possible lists are effected. Other sites have recommended mouse/kb fixes. Have tried all those but the phenomena persists. Have not had any known updates recently and don't have a restore point to try. Any other suggestions? W10Pro 1903
